A young lady complains, now what is she suppose to do (paraphrasing nicely)?
Seriously if gov is going to not provide a major provider all of a sudden there needs to be support for these people as an alternative…otherwise their anger and resentment goes against who? pro-lifers? After some research this is all I have found thus far:
getyourcare.org/ However, after searching in the are I found NO woman’s clinics.

Any suggestions?

God bless.

I couldn’t use the link you posted, but googled ob gyn in allen and got results all over Texas. I don’t understand your question.

First of all, most non-abortion procedures done at PP are also available at standard free community health clinics. This includes dispersal of contraceptives (which is considered by the Church to be objectively evil, but is one of the biggest “whines” that people complain about when it comes to PP being shut down), pregnancy tests, and “pap” smears. By the way, PP does not offer mammograms.

There is a lot more to women’s health care than abortion and contraception; which is what PP does. There are many health care providers in Texas who accept Medicaid, but who do not kill children.

I did mention to her that OBGYN who has hospital admitting privileges is the better choice with her insurance.

However, I think she is looking for something like PP. I want to direct this young lady to an alternative to PP (a women’s clinic) hopefully that is pro-life if there are any…not just another PP run independently. Even a list of alternatives so that she does not feel slighted. If you look up a list in the North Dallas Texas area, please provide the list.

Try…

yellowpages.com/allen-tx/womens-health-center

Came up with 60 results.

Please explain the bias against clinics that also serve Men and Children?
Any clinic has nurses that can perform the testing and non-abortions services that PP provides.
Nurses do that work in PP as well.

The reason that PP targets Women Only is because their services are a feeder to their high margin abortions. If they treated Men and Children, it would deflect from their cash cow.

Can you explain why PP doesn’t treat women keeping their babies, a staple of regular OGBYNs. Almost all modern Gynecologists are also Obstetricians.

I am (and I am sure the pro-life would like too) looking for at least a gynecologist for the female reproductive area (a women’s clinic specializes in such)…it is not a bias (as you would judge) it is a specialty that many women prefer…God have mercy. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Also, I would really like to find a list of places that are pro-life as well. This is the kind of information that we need to have for people as an alternative otherwise they may just go to another sudo-PP…defeating the purpose.

Even most PP Gynecologists have another practice and visit PP once or twice a week to perform scheduled abortions. Nurse Practitioners at PP do all the basic services and write most prescriptions.

I do not know what your point is and it still does not answer my question. Pro-life women’s clinics (gyn and/or obgyn specialty)?

I find your posts puzzling. Obviously stopping free money to PP had no impact on your ability to locate a Pro-life OBGYN.

And as I pointed out, it won’t even reduce the number of Pro-choice OBGYNs, it just reduces their number of offices and perhaps what car they can drive.

There are Catholic Women’s Clinics that don’t murder children.

There are around 700 Planned Parenthoods in the US and there are over 9000 FQHCs (Federally qualified health clinics), according to this link: lozierinstitute.org/planned-parenthood-and-federally-qualified-health-centers/
You can see a state by state comparison of the number of FQHCs and Planned Parenthood at the link.

Specifically for Texas, (see source info at link) per this, there were 39 Planned Parenthoods as of January 2015, and as of 2013 it’s known that, “there are 68 FQHCs operating in 405 service sites and serving 1,124,022 individuals per year.3”

Not sure how many people Planned Parenthood served in Texas, but per the picture above you can see across the US as a whole, Planned Parenthood served far fewer “individuals” compared to FQHCs. Here is information on finding a FQHC: fqhc.org/find-an-fqhc/

Aren’t all OB/GYN practices basically “women’s clinics”? I have never known of a man who went to one for his own health care. In the Houston area, Caritas Women’s Care is an explicitly pro-life OB/GYN practice. They don’t prescribe contraceptives.

Well, yes, however I think it is more expensive to go to an OB/GYN than a GYN/women’s clinic…PP is an organization that is way cheaper. Why else would anyone go to Planned Parenthood instead of an OB/GYN? There needs to be an alternative to people who depended on PP. Is there not?

For non-Dallas are The Neighborhood Christian Clinic is the only comparable resource I have found.

Thank you, there map show less and no more than the link that I already posted and no women’s clinics in the Dallas, TX area. Still not an alternative.
