Was this priest involved in politics in any way? There was a case of a GC priest expelled from Crimea, but it was reported that he was in possession of contraband and that his residence had several types of materials in support of Stepan Bandera. According to a RISU report that I read, Catholic Churches (both RC and GC) are still open for worship in Crimea. Have they shut down the UGCC or the latin rite CC in Donetsk or in the eastern Ukraine regions?Father Tikhon Kulbaka, a priest of the UGCC on Donetsk, who had been captured by the terrorists in early July, is now free and there is no threat to his life. It was reported by protestant pastor Serhiy Kosyak on his Facebook page.

Well, the Russian terrorists in the Donbas kidnapped a Roman Catholic priest yesterday, they murdered two Ukrainian Orthodox (Kyivan Patriarchate) priests as well (and one’s sons) and they also kidnapped a Protestant minister not too long ago. I suppose if one believes Putin’s propaganda, then this isn’t a big deal…Was this priest involved in politics in any way?
