UK girls as young as 10 prescribed birth control pill

Researchers at the University of Aberdeen who conducted a study into the prescribing of oral contraceptives found that doctors there had prescribed the pill to 23 girls younger than 13, including 2 girls under ten.

And what kind of parent allows this? Absolutely disgusting.
 
I wonder how many of those girls are being raped or are being victimized by pedophiles (what’s the difference?).
