Why would these be graphic? IF someone wants to pay to put them in the paper than the paper should take them. Heck they are a lot tamer than some of the Victoria Secret and Foley underware ads as far as graphic…

These are beautiful pictures…not graphic in any sense…unlike this (VERY GRAPHIC)… operationrescue.org/photos/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=2626
Maybe if they showed a picture like this in sex education classes, it would stick in the minds of young ladies. It might even stop a few from aborting a baby some day. But of course a picture like that will never be shown–it’s WAY too informative.

The only thing graphic about those ultrasound images is that the unborn babies in them actually look like babies. Maybe that’s what the newspaper is afraid of – those images will cause quite a bit of discomfort to those who would like to think that the creature growing in the womb is something other than human life.

hmmm…everything has its place…and the photo in the link I provided has no place IMHO in schools or anywhere ā€œlittleā€ kids can see them!

To the original poster with the first link, those are awesome pics… I honestly think that if some group had paid for them, they should run them.

As for the link with Operation Rescue’s ā€œTruth Truckā€ā€¦ there is no way that ā€œlittleā€ kids could avoid something that large, however, I believe that pictures like that should be shown to @8th graders on up. It’ll make them think again about abortion. I was in the 10th grade when I saw a video about teen pregnancy and the ā€œoptionsā€ and abortion was the first one. And it wasn’t a graphic video… it was all about ā€œher choice- the father didn’t want ā€˜itā€™ā€ and it evoked feelings of sorrow for her because she stated that once in awhile she feels sorrow at what the baby ā€œmightā€ have been. That feeling sat with me for years… until I learned how post-abortive women REALLY feel… and that sorrow that the teen in the video showed was a mockery.

So… with that said… children- as young as mentally capable of handling such graphic information- should see that picture so they have NO misunderstanding as to what abortion is.
just my two cents. :o

So far gone are those that protest life, that the first most natural images of life’s beginning is now offending them.

In NZ the Family Planning Assn show 13 year-olds a video of a woman giving birth screaming her head off. Talk about indoctrinating against having babies.

If children were routinely shown beautiful photos of pre-natal development and ultrasounds from a very early age, along with discussion, it could help to teach them about the sacredness of life.

Those who corrupt the young are amongst the gravest of sinners.

Yes they are too graphic for the Culture of Perversion to stomach. The pictures would further weaken their position and they cannot afford that to happen. They are despirate and it shows.
