UMC and FCM Churches

Thank you, William and Zooey, for the great links. I’ll have to make sure I stay away from the Church of the Nazarene, the Free Methodist Church, and the Wesleyan Church, though, since I do smoke and drink! My good friend is United Methodist and also smokes and drinks.
 
Earlier I had stated that the FC Methodist sang entirely too much at worship service, I have completely changed my mind on this matter and have now discovered how to worship WITH the singing and music.
Oddly enough I have always hated music in church but now I find it soothes me and puts me in almost a state of meditation.

It’s probably excellent music since it is a Methodist Church. You probably sing a lot of Charles Wesley’s wonderful hymns.

Yes, the music IS good.
It is a small church with more than it’s fair share of gifted singers.
I used to believe music had no place in church but now I understand that it is an integral part of worship.
The hymnal is almost like a prayerbook in many ways.
