Looks like the UN is being undermined again. Good:thumbsup:
UN Anger Over Uganda’s Successful Abstinence Program Fueled by Loss of Funds Says Researcher

UNITED NATIONS, October 13, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The United Nations envoy to Africa, Canadian Stephen Lewis, is highly critical of an abstinence campaign that has downplayed the role of condoms but been hugely successful at reducing HIV transmission in Uganda. Population Researcher Institute’s Joseph A. D’Agostino suggests that the success in combating AIDS in Uganda “isn’t good enough for UN officials, whose love affair with condoms knows no bounds, and who are also angry with America for funding her own AIDS initiative in Africa instead of giving the money to them.”

I just love the Uganda story!

Empirical proof of the legacy of the culture of death. Proof, because the resutls within Uganda show that abstinence can and does work, and that in comparaison, condoms fail miserably. Uganda, above all other nations in the world, by their example, shed undeniable light upon the true nature of the culture of death.

Hence, why there is a smear campaign against them! They prove the truth, so they must, at all costs, be silenced! Makes me sick sometimes. I pray they will hold strong and keep being the light they have made themselves to be.

Tuned in to CBC radio this morning and was unlucky enough to hear Mr. Lewis being interviewed by Shelagh Rogers (one of the CBCs long time show hosts). He seems to have a real dislike for anything Catholic. At one time, I admired the man but no more.

When people show their true colors it is a disappointment, isn’t it? I hope that other struggling countries learn from Uganda’s success.

amazing that abstinence has worked for Uganda, but DARE mention it in the USA and you get screamed at, etc.

The problem certain groups have with abstinence is that with the right teaching method it can WORK.

If only this method could be lovingly taught in America… 😦

I presume they are distressed that since it has no budget they can’t skim from it.
