Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Lord, please grant pwlj_christ87 many graces for this intention and for faith, hope, love, joy, courage, and fortitude always. See that this soul, as a member of the Church, his bride, be always a faithful spouse to the bridegroom. Protect this soul from sin with holy angels, Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and
snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God, thrust into hell satan, and
all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

I am praying for your intentions.

Keep in mind, we are all under attack of the devil. A war has been waged and we are all very proactively trying to be recruited by the enemy. Don’t give them any credence. Don’t look into the dark. Turn your eyes to the light of Christ and keep walking best as you can toward Him.

I hope you made it to Confession. It has helped me tremendously since I started going frequently; sometimes, I go as much as once per week. Confession not only gives the opportunity to have our sins forgiven, it also pours down graces upon our souls that helps strengthen us for future battles with temptation.

However, please be assured that uninvited bad thoughts are only temptations. They are not in themselves sinful. They become sinful only when we actually allow the thoughts to linger.

Something that helped me was picturing a raging river with all kinds of debris in it, such as after a tornado. Then I would picture dumping those thoughts in that river and allowing the Holy Spirit to take them away. That helped a lot. Maybe you, too, can find something like that will help you.

Memorare

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Read the Imitation of Christ, it will help you to deal with your trial/temptation, it was enormously helpful to me. God bless.
