A lot of holy people are always worrying about their sins. Why does God plague those who trying their hardest to love him the most with the most sufferings? Many people live carefree without ever considering God or even their sins. They will be held accountable for less. In the end, if you repent, God will forgive you of your sins. The more knowledge you know, the more you are held accountable for. God calls each person to a different life. What happens if you ignore his calling? God supposedly loves us all equally yet for one person sainthood means martyrdom or constant persecution for another person it means having a family and raising childhood. Why? People say trust in the Lord for He is Good, honestly I am too scared. Many do not know God so they do not know their calling. Does that mean they lived in unfulfilled lives? God treats some more gentler than others, while some people are forced to face suffering, persecution, etc. Why?
 
All people suffer, good and evil, not just people of faith.

Why some suffer more than others, we don’t know the reason.

Why some people are given the gift of faith, while others are not, we don’t know why.

These are answers only God can provide.

Our job is to be open to God and I suppose the level of faith a person receives is proportional to the amount of themselves they’re willing to give over to God.

What is the gift of faith?
 
Let me say this. After suffering lot’s of spiritual distress, I look back and thank God for this distress as it has led me to God. Now I feel it is a blessing. Imagine all of those care free people you mention, they feel like they don’t need God. This makes me very sad, I feel like I receive a huge grace, even though someone from the outside might think I am poor as I received a lot of suffering. In this sense, the Beatitudes make a lot of sense, blessed are the poor, the ones that suffer, as they will inherit the Kingdom of God.

Knowing that the Lord loves you without limit and has a plan for your life.

Believing in the Creed that we recite at Mass.

If daily we reach out to the Lord and ask to follow Him more closely, He will hear us. When we do this we have His Peace that only He can give, no matter what trials we are going through.

Life is short…the trials will end. They can draw us closer to the Lord. Being with Him is forever!
 
As we grow spiritually, we are challenged more. It is like children going from elementary to middle school and on. God knows our limitations and our weaknesses as humans. He leads us slowly although, in truth, it is at the speed we choose to learn at. Each level of growth is undoubtedly more difficult.

Just re-read the posts and I agree heartily. In this day and age, it isn’t easy but so very worth it…me, who has far to go but determined to get there!
 
Try not to always seek to understand others’ response or lack of to God’s will.
All we can do is decide for OURSELVES that we will follow Christ.
Your good example does far more to changing hearts than endless speculating as to why God does this that or the other, or why people reject God and others are all in.

Self-awareness, self examination, and self giving.
These things matter to God, and do you more good.
