I feel your pain. I too have a 23-yr old that just returned to the nest. But she has no job, and her future looks pretty pitiful. She dropped out of high school in her junior year, lived with a LOSER boyfriend that was abusive that I warned her about the day she met him. They had a child which he is now raising because she can’t get her act together. She does absolutely nothing to help out around the house. But it stops today. I have made a list of chores for her to do, and am giving her a move out date. She can go live at the Salvation Army. This girl is the most ungrateful young adult I have ever seen. I can’t even get her to go help my Alzheimers Mom out several times during the week. Please pray for this family:mad:
*I’ll be praying for your family. *

I feel everyone’s pain on this thread. Right now we have a 20-y.o. (in college but never helps out, his place is filthy, etc., etc.) son at home; a 21-y.0. daughter with her husband and their baby daughter living with us.
It is a nightmare. We’re kicking everyone out this month. I have HAD IT! Our four children had expensive Catholic school educations, we’ve helped them on their college expenses, etc. The two oldest are fine, but the two youngest are driving me bats. I keep saying, “Two more weeks…two more weeks…” like a demented robot.
And this time they aren’t moving home, ever again. I have learned my lesson.
