Hi, thought I would pose a uestion. It seems that a lot of the hang up with people complaining that women should be priest is because they feel men can do something unique for the Church in a special role while women don’t (besides being mothers).
Obviously Christ established the role of Viriginity for a special reason and uniquely for women.
So any thoughts on what that is and how men cannot fulffill this role?

He did? So, I should encourage my daughter to remain a virgin and my son to do… what? I think woman do have a unique role as the first teacher to their children. They provide comfort and by their obedience teach ALL how to be obedient to the Church. But, virginity (and\or celibacy) is not unique to women. Perhaps, I missed your point, please clarify.

Virginity is for both Women & MEN, however how many times have you seen “Virgin & Martyr” near a male catholic saint? It doesn’t mean that none of them were virgins - does it? Just that Virginity is sort of special for females…

When I say virginity, I mean with a capital V as in the religious and consecrated life or women in the Church. I am asking what unique role that women play in that role in the life of the Church.
