The Catechism, strictly speaking, was meant as a reference material for Priests and Bishops already familiar with the advanced concepts and doctrines of Christianity. It was not necessarily meant for an uniformed layman to pick and learn the faith from.How does it compare to The Catechism of The Catholic Church?

This version would be more geared to the beginner hoping to learn about the faith. T
