Hey TRee.

I’m in the same boat as you (non-denominational married to a Catholic). I PM’d you if you’re interested in what I’ve come across in the past 16ish years.

Knowledge itself will not give the power of conviction for the Faith in question, but an encounter with Christ will. Knowledge will speak about the Faith, but Faith itself is a “supernatural gift of grace” given by the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. The knowledge must receive personal confirmation, the work of the Holy Spirit. Only God knows how to move one to accept the tenants of the Faith, and all we can do is to “predispose” one to receive it and pray for it. If one has the Faith, even the advancement in it is a “supernatural grace.”
