University of Dallas is currently my top choice for college. I am looking for a Catholic, liberal arts college, with Catholic University of America and Thomas Aquinas college in California being my next two choices. Has anyone attended these colleges? What does everybody think about them?

I know that Thomas Aquinas and Dallas have outstanding reputations. I also know someone who graduated from Dallas, and she was very happy there and received a fine education.

I know less about CUA, except that it’s right next to the gorgeous National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

Good luck with your college selection.

All I can say is that our old Monsignor (now passed away) recommended the University of Dallas. I believe he had some positive things to say about some program they had with Rome. That’s all I can remember though.

Folks

Just thought I might let you know that in Australia, the first ever Catholic Liberal Arts College opened in 2006…Campion College

Its President Father John Fleming was interviewed in January by Father Pacwa Live on EWTN.

As a new institution whihc is faithful to the magisterium and which hopes to promote the Liberal Arts, we have been in the United States on a number of occasions to promote study abroad to our campus in Sydney.

Many US students look to study abroad in Australia and at last there is a real Catholic alternative for such people.

I do work for the College so I am biased but it might be worth checking out our website at www.campion.edu.au
