Thanks for this thread. I have had an abundance lately of peace from the Holy Spirit. This is truly a gift and I have been blessed.

Actually, yes, I feel very blessed.
Last night, I was walking through the hall, and my 5 yr. old daughter’s bedroom door was ajar. I peeked in as I was passing and saw a beautiful sight.
My daughter had gotten out of bed, and was kneeling before her alter. She was praying. I couldn’t resist and I crept in behind her.
Her precious little voice was saying, as she clutched a Rosary …
… And God, I hope we can be friends … and I know how you feel when I am bad … and I know how you feel when you were on the cross … you were so sad … and I am sorry when I am bad and don’t listen to Mommy … and I am sorry that I lie … and God … please help me to be holy…
At this point, I felt like I was going to choke from trying to hold back the tears, a sniffle must have escaped because she turned around and saw me there. I apologized and backed away, I felt as if I was intruding.
She says … “No mommy (pats the floor beside her) wanna join me?”
Then she says, “Mom, do you think Jesus likes my prayers?” I can barely talk at this point, and I say, “Yes, I am sure He does.” In fact I was so sure of her having His ear, I asked her to please pray for me as well, which she did.
Incidently, this child is my most difficult and challenging.
Thank you, Jesus, for leading and guiding my children.

I am very blessed, but I will have to get back to you on the stress thing…I am blessed because I have a great wife and a wonderful 7 year old son. And I am being drawn closer and closer to the faith. It seems that the more grateful I am for things, for the love that surrounds me, the more I am drawn to the church. Its a great feeling.

I am so blessed. I have a wonderful husband, 3 beautiful healthy children. My dh has a good job with benefits. Most importantly, we share a faith, we are so very blessed and we know it.
We have decided to focus more on Christ this Christmas and it is a huge help in lowering the stress of the season.
