I am very new to participating with anything like this online.
Thank you for letting me join. I have a chaplet with black beads. It starts with a crucifix the SEVEN beads in a row. Then a sacred heart medal I did not look on the back of it. This is what makes it so puzzling then 3 beads I think to the left unless I had it turned wrong then 5 sets of 5 beads then one bead then five beads. I have looked at many chaplets and rosaries and even archives.

I have looked at the Precious Blood chaplet,

The Sacred Heart Chaplet, The Saint Anne Chaplet,

The Holy Souls in Purgatory,

Then there are two from Medjugore one is approved and one is not.

There are a total of 45 beads. Can anyone please help me? Thank you in advance. I do not have money to buy a lot of books right now.

Well I have images but got a message new users cannot upload images the site doesnt allow.

Perhaps its from the Servite Rosary or the Fransican Crown (the number 7 seems to possibly indicate that)? Try to look them online before buying books about it.

You don’t need to spend any money on a Rosary. Use the one God provided us all with–your fingers. 🙂

Also, most parishes have mission Rosaries available for free. 🙂

It starts with 7 then goes to three then 5 then 1 5 times then 5 beads I am very familiar with Seven Sorrows Thank you

I’m going to guess it’s a Sacred Heart Chaplet. As to it starting with 7, does it look like it’s grouped 2-3-2? If so, each set of double beads represents one single “larger” our father bead, in use it would be 1-3-1. See example.

I believe the Chaplet is the Five Wounds also uses 5 sets of 5.

Thank you but no. It is grouped Crucifix 7 beads all black. Sacred Heart middle. I thought it might be Chaplet to the sacred heart but then there are three beads to the left going around it is 5 and 1 5 times then a sixth group of 5. The beads are black. I thought it might be A Holy Souls Chaplet ot for the Souls in Purgatory.

Thank you

Could be a Precious Blood Chaplet. Here is one with 3 beads on one side:

It could also be something someone made or had made for their own devotional practice. When you make your own, you can do what you like in terms of color, medal, crucifix, etc.
