Join us for Mass at 8AM at the Sacred Heart Parish Church and a breakfast reception at 8:45AM at the Sacred Heart Parish Center.

At the reception, you will meet Peter Breen, who is serving as Executive Director of the new center. Peter is a lawyer who has put aside his practice to help women and men in difficult pregnancies.

Sponsored by the Diocese of Joliet Life Office, the Our Lady of Guadalupe Prolife Mission, and Sacred Heart Parish Church.

Woman’s Choice Services is the first Pregnancy Help Center in DuPage County with the specific mission of being a Life Center in the Catholic Christian tradition. The Center will focus on the call of Pope John Paul II to be in radical solidarity with the woman in need. Enlivened by the Spirit, the Center will extend love and assistance to all people, regardless of faith.

How far is this parish from Elmhurst? I’m in downtown Chicago right now, but will be moving there at the end of this month. Are you a parishoner at Sacred Heart? I would really like to participate in some of these events and get involved in some of these activities…I really need it. I am not from this area so it’s hard for me to get involved since I’m a bit shy. Thanks for the info. 👍

The Parish is very close to Elmhurst. It’s about a 10 minute drive west of Elmhurst. Just show up and you will meet people. There is always a get together either for lunch in the middle of the talks or after the talks are over. People from many different surrounding parish’s are showing up to see these speakers. These speakers are the top Catholic Speakers in the United States today & we are lucky we have connections to get them to show up at our Parish.

Sounds great 😃 !!! Hear’s another question for you, is there any childcare available? I have a 6 month old and don’t always have someone who can watch him, especially now that I’ll be out in Elmhurst…I don’t know anyone there 😦 . I would definately make every effort to find some childcare so that I can see and hear these very important speakers.

On another note, I noticed you are very involved in the pro-life movement. I would like to get more information on this, I would like to volunteer my time to this cause, I’ve donated some time to The Women’s Center here in Chicago, but since I’ll be moving I would like to continue this in the area that I’ll be in, thanks.

I am not sure about the childcare but for your question on the Women’s Center you can contact Peter Breen. I believe his phone number or email address should be listed at the website…

For those of you planning to see Fr. Corapi speak on March 17-18th, 2006 at Sacred Heart Parish in Lombard, IL there has been a slight change.

There has been an unbelievable number of tickets sold for this event. So many tickets have been sold that the number of attendees has exceeded the number of people both the large church & gymnasium can hold. There are also 500 people on the waiting list to get tickets and there are still many others still calling for more tickets.

Therefore the venue has been switched from Sacred Heart Parish in Lombard, IL to Montini Catholic High School in Lombard, IL (home of the Illinois Wrestling State Champions the last 4 consecutive years). Just wanted to make sure everyone knows about the change in location. See you there!!
