TC forum is for the discussion of Traditional Catholic Spirituality and customs.
Do not attack, make fun of, embarrass, or ridicule those who subscribe to older traditions. People have a right to subscribe to traditions and customs that are approved by the Church. They must be treated with respect. TC Forum is not a holding pen for people to gang up on Traditionalists.
Do not take the high road either. Because you observe and are faithful to older traditions, do not post statements that suggest, accuse or state that others who subscribe to newer practices are less Catholic, have a less efficacious liturgical or prayer life, are Modernists, liberals, progressives or other. People have a right to use whatever the Church makes available to them and that right must be respected.
Finally, please do not use the TC Forum to discuss the problems in your parish, diocese or with your local clergy and religious. These problems must be taken up with them at the local level. It is unfair to bring them up here, because others cannot see both sides of the story. They can only see what you post and only hear your perception. The persons involved are not here to defend themselves.
If you want to know where to go with a concern or how you should present it, this may be a good place to ask for advice on how to do it and to whom you should speak. There are many knowledgeable posters here. You can also PM me and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
I’m open to suggestions, but never to debate. I do not debate. Please PM me if you have suggestions on how the TC Forum can better meet your faith needs and I promise to respond and to take them into consideration. I cannot promise to implement every suggestion.
I’ll leave this thread open a day or two in case you have QUESTIONS. Feedback should come via PM.
Thank You
