I highly recommend wearing a blessed Rosary around your neck and or a blessed Brown Sclapular and or a blessed Medal of St. Benedict and or a blessed Miraculous Medal. I highly doubt you’ll have trouble of this sort again if you wear any one of these. The Scalpular and Medal of St. Benedict require a blessing with a specific wording so I’d recommend looking this up for the priest you want them blessed by if you choose to get one.

Fear not TQ. This is not uncommon it has happened to me 3 times. It happens to pastors also. It is only some dumb devil trying to discourage you. You must have done something recently to renew your relationship with God that they don’t like. But just remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1Jn4:4) As you experienced, just the name Jesus is enough to send them packing. But then command them to go where Jesus would send them.

What you need to do is ask the HS if there is any thing in you that the devil can use such as unforgiveness towards anyone or yourself or any sin or darkness that the devil can use. Then deal with that.

What eazyduzit says is very true. The devil would not have bothered you if you were pleasing him by happily living in sin with no regrets or intention of changing for the better. Keep climbing those stairs to heaven by staying with and learning about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (one God in three persons). Buy some distilled water (that’s what I use but sink water will be just fine) and take it to a Catholic priest so that he can bless it. Sprinkle it around your house and also pray the rosary. Satan wants you to scare you away from God and lure you back into living his evil ways so that you can eventually stay with him forever but that’s certainly not what you want. Remember, you have so much access to the best arsenal of defense against the devil that you would laugh at him face to face. Satan is the biggest fool there ever was and I get goose bumps thinking of the enormous power of God vs the foolish devil. But always remember, you can’t fight the devil without God.

I am Roman catholic.

I can explain these things from 2,000 years of Catholic Teaching.
We Catholics don’t pray to the saints or angels, what we do is we ask them to pray for us. Just like I might ask my Granny to say a prayer for me. God alone is the source of grace. So the St Michael 'prayer" is just lines asking St Michael to pray to God for my protection
Nothing wrong with asking a friend to pray for you.

Holy water: the Roman Catholic Church holds that there is: written Revelation (the Bible) and also, spoken Revelation passed down through word of mouth, which is where Jesus gave the Apostles the sacraments, Holy Water instructions, etc… If you go back to 33AD there is historic proof that the early Christians practiced everything that Roman Catholics currently practice, asking Mary to pray for us, Eucharist, Holy Water, etc…

Holy Water is water that a Roman catholic priest has spoken exorcism prayers over. In Roman catholic exorcisms, Holy Water is used very effectively. It is God’s blessing on the Holy water that is effective. Does it not say in the Bible that tissues brought from St Paul healed the sick and exorcised demons?

St Theresa Avila, experienced many attacks of the devil, and when she used Holy Water, the evil spirit would leave and never return.

I know the charismatic renewal is strong in the Pentecostal church?
Have you experienced any of the charisms of the Holy Spirit in your church?
Did you know the charismatic renewal has also spread to the Roman Catholic Church also?
There are mighty people in ministry in my Country within the charismatic renewal, in the deliverance ministry, healing ministry, etc…

Thanks for the reply. There is an order of command in the kingdom . Michael is actually the leader of the host of heaven. His job is not mainly an intercessor. He is the commander or like the chief of staff over the army of God. When we ask God in faith, Michael gets the order from God to send his warrior angels or “host” angels to defend us.

And yes my former pastor back home held the office of a prophet. This is, according to Paul, the best gift. It is very useful to keep people on track or to jump start someone, and to encourage. She would never fail to prophesy over each new person that came in the church on Sunday morning. We also hosted many visiting prophets. It was quite a time. But we also had several people who could deliver a general message. Sometimes we would feel the presence of angels in the worship.
I always want to be more Pentecostal, but its really about serving God according to His perfect will.
