Urgent Prayer Request for Baby Mattie

Please pray for my friend and coworker’s baby girl, Mattie. She weighs 1 1b. 11 oz. and is a month old. She was 1 lb. 3 oz. at birth (4 mos. premature).

She may have to undergo surgery tomorrow and has went through one surgery already. They meet with doctors tomorrow. She has an infection in her intestines and other complications.

Mattie and her family will be in my prayers.
 
Praying for Baby Mattie!!! Our daughter was born 26 weeks and weighed 1 lb 12 oz. She was on a ventilator for about a month, had sepsis and NEC plus Group Strep B. We had people all over the world pray for her. I am now proud to say that she will be 5 on December 23rd. She is now a typical child.

I do believe in the power of prayer along the fact the NICU staff are doing their best for Baby Mattie.

Karen, I too believe in the power of prayer, God is so good, I will keep her and your friend’s in my prayers today when receiving Holy Communion. (you too.)
 
Thank you so much everyone. I just heard from her mother. She seems to have improved alot since yesterday. They said they don’t have to do surgery for now. The anti-biotics they have her on are working. The infection is definitely in her intestines which are causing them to swell, but they have gone down since yesterday.

Please continue with the prayers…they are working.

This is awesome news!!! Keep praying. Preemies are very unpredictable and can have big step forward but 3 steps back.

I’m holding her in my arms in prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
