Urgent prayers for a dear friend :(

Please pray for the repose of the soul of a dear childhood friend of mine whom I just learned died early this morning soon after delivering her 1st child. Her husband is inconsolable to say the least. Please keep him and all the family and the baby in your prayers:crying: :crying:

Sts Monica and the Blessed Virgin Mary, pray with us.
 
Father, please send your Holy Spirit
to this family. Comfort them and hold
them up during this terrible time.

Guide this little child through life
so that they will be raised up to follow
you.

Grant peace to all the family and friends.

We pray for the repose of the soul of this
poor young woman.
 
May the Holy Spirit bring comfort and peace to her family. May our Blessed Mother cover them with her mantle of protection and her motherly embrace of love.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.

And may perpetual light shine upon her.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Thanks to everyone for the prayers.

Her funeral will be Friday. I’m very shaken by he idea of attending the funeral of a friend I remember going to preschool with. It’s very sobering. :crying:

It’s going to be a very rough road ahead for her family and her newborn daughter (who dad named Celeste). Please keep them in your prayers.
 
Praying for everyone who has ever known this daughter of God. Praying that Celeste will be a light in the world and that she stays connected with our Lord her entire life.

I’m going to have to have my students pray for this situation too.
