Urgent Request: Co-worker is ill

A co-worker of ours (his name is Pat) recently had triple by-pass surgery. The last few weeks he has returned to work. Today he isn’t doing well. As I type this an ambulance is here to take him to the hospital. Please pray for the best possible outcome.

Almighty Father, grant comfort to Pat in his suffering. When he is afraid, give him courage. When afflicted, give him patience. When depressed, give him hope, and when alone, give him assurance that You are always with him. If it be Your will, restore him to full health.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

We found out later that he was not having a heart attack which is good news. He may be over-doing it on his return to work however.

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY**

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Praying for Pat…and I’m glad it wasn’t a heart attack!
 
Good news that Pat is not seriousloy ill…Deo Gratius!..will pray that he will recover his strength and on return to work not over stress himself…
