Just so I am clear, the US Catholic Bishops Bible is the same thing as the NABRE, correct? If not, could someone tell me the difference? Thank you and God bless!

The USCCB has a committee on Doctrine that has a subcommittee on the Translation of Scripture Texts. This subcommittee directed the translation of the revisions of the NAB. Several times the Conference as a whole voted to either accept the translation or have it revised, eg they asked for the Psalms to be revised in 2008 rather than publish the 1990 version of the Psalms that had been in an earlier revision.

The NABRE is the 4th edition and consists of a complete revision of the original NAB. NT was revised first, then Psalms, then OT with the Psalms getting further revision. NABRE has not been approved for use in the liturgy, so the Bishops still use the NAB until they complete the 5th edition.
