I guess the episcopy has had (or should I say the “General Assembly”) has had their meeting this month. Does this happen annually or more often? And they spoke of the holy father’s synod. Now this particular Synod; will it involve Bishops and Abp.s from all over the world going to Vatican City?

I am not sure about the synod but the USCCB hold general meetings twice a year.
