for discussion, tips, pros and cons of using video or dvd in your CCD or RCIA classes.
When and how do you use them
for what age groups do they work best
do you have recommended videos that you have used and would use again (not just to watch for your own enlightenment, but ones that work in a class setting)
For this discussion I would like at first to limit it to those produced for this purpose.
I know we can use mainstream movies, documentaries etc. in a CCD class setting, but I would like reviews of specific videos marketed to catechists and DREs.
children’s
teens
sacramental prep for youth and children
sacramental prep for parents and adults
what is available
what is good
what is useless or downright dangerous
what is lacking
where is there a market or niche for someone with a knack for producing good programs
