Using Facebook as an Evangelization tool

I posted a video on the Catholic teaching regarding homosexuality on my timeline a few days ago but don’t know if that is sufficient. I thought of sending out a bunch of Direct Messages with the video but I thought it would be too forceful and would seem random given I don’t interact with anyone on Facebook.

Is there such thing as going too far when evangelizing?

Yes, don’t spam people. Those who receive a message willingly are much more likely to pay heed to it.

People’s first impression about something being given to them is to wonder why you sent it to them. Usually they react negatively. I mean the first answer people usually give to something is no. So don’t give it. Just post it. They’ll read or watch it. If they want to. And your job is done.
