Using the scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Hello everyone. Yesterday I bought the scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and the lady who sold it to me told me that it needed to be imposed by a priest. Is that true or can I just put it on right now? Thanks and God bless

Get enrolled in it. Any priest is able to do this, but some are more familiar with this than others. Wear it all the time. Wearing the Brown Scapular can bring the most amazing benefits.

When you are enrolled it is not the scapular that is enrolled, but you. I believe that means that in many years time, when your scapular deteriorates from wear, you can buy another one and just put it on and wear it. Or you can re-sew and patch up your old scapular and wear it until the cloth is no more.
