I just wonder how does he think we will ever learn to treat animals as we treat humans by proposing we treat humans as animals?

It is beginning to look more and more like the future men like Peter Singer are promulgating will have no further need of pure and holy doctors. As I have already noticed while checking the backgrounds of many of the foremost proponents for cloning and human embryonic stem cell research frequently they were trained as veterinarians. Anyone remember the infamous Dr. Hwang of South Korea? Yes, that’s right, they started with breeding animals and have translated that experience into assisted reproductive technology in humans. What Singer is proposing is simply using these same animal doctors to practice their “art” on human subjects.

Let’s see what they might need these unconscious subjects for. Remove organs from human/animal hybrids or chimeras manufactured in laboratories and test them in human subjects for rejection or possible transfer of unknown viruses from pigs to name one example. Ideal patients as they would already be quarantined and consigned to death anyway.

Peter Singer didn’t treat his own dying mother like that. Why would he think anyone else would consent their loved ones being used like that.

“Death with Dignity” What slogan will bioethicists need to sell this latest innovation of the “culture of death” to the ignorant masses?

This is so sick.

But then, when you think it is fine to kill babies because the condom broke or that “unused embryos”, who are also people with a soul, should be killed and used for medical research, experimentation and for making drugs, this sick, twisted and Nazi-like attitude is inevitable.

He is advocating crimes that cry to Heaven for justice on an unimaginable scale.

I will never permit myself to be treated with drugs or prcedure derived from these methods.

Singer doesn’t back away from the implications of his ideas.
 
Yes, Gabriel bio-ethicists always make promises to justify their inhumanity to man. They could care less about the millions and millions of suffering humanity. It is all about achieving personal glory at whatever cost.

But, society would indeed be threatened by the erosion of those moral values whose loss possibly caused by too ruthless a pursuit of scientific progress would make its most dazzling triumph not worth having.

As a toddler, I watched screaming and crying while a pair of young boys threw stones at a helpless,little, white cat in the field until it succumbed to their cruel blows. It would seem these boys have grown up and exchanged their striped teeshirts with white laboratory coats. Be that at it may, they cannot hide their hearts of stone.
 
How sickening! I know a brain damaged person and I couldn’t imagine using her for HIV research. :mad:
