I recently heard of a once-popular sacramental called the AGNUS DEI, and wanting to have one, found some small ones offered on a Catholic website for a small donation for shipping. I ordered them, but still, I’m not sure what are the benefits of having an Agnus Dei in your home. Also, why have the popes stopped creating Agnus Deis? I read that none have been made since Pope Paul the 6th.
