Does anyone know what to do if you think your vehicle key code (the kind that is built onto the car door) has been compromised? I think that my code might have been copied somehow. I suspect someone has been in my vehicle last night.

Has this ever happened to anyone here? What did you do? The manual says it is set that way and can’t be changed?
 
Call your car dealer and explain the situation. They may be able to suggest some kind of security upgrade.

In the meantime, don’t leave anything in your vehicle of interest to a thief and leave the glove box and well compartments unlocked.
 
If you are referring to the remote code transmitted, it depends on the car. Some makes are easily reprogrammed by the owner while in possession of the remote(s).
 
They can do that, my husband lost his keys once, and they reprogrammed the locks.
