Is there a musical setting of Veni Creator in English?

Like how “You will sprinkle me” is with Asperges Me

Come, Holy Ghost, Creator blest,
and in our hearts take up Thy rest;
come with Thy grace and heav’nly aid,
To fill the hearts which Thou hast made.

O Comforter, to Thee we cry,
Thou heav’nly gift of God most high,
Thou Fount of life, and Fire of love,
and sweet anointing from above.

O Finger of the hand divine,
the sevenfold gifts of grace are thine;
true promise of the Father thou,
who dost the tongue with power endow.

Thy light to every sense impart,
and shed thy love in every heart;
thine own unfailing might supply
to strengthen our infirmity.

Drive far away our ghostly foe,
and thine abiding peace bestow;
if thou be our preventing Guide,
no evil can our steps betide.

Praise we the Father and the Son
and Holy Spirit with them One;
and may the Son on us bestow
the gifts that from the Spirit flow.

V. Send forth Thy Spirit, and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

Let us Pray
O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Ghost: give to us, in the same Spirit, to know what is right, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, Who with Thee livest and reignest in the unity of the same Holy Spirit, God. World without end. Amen.

Thanks but Im looking for notes. But seriously thanks!

I sing a version of it at youtube.com/watch?v=CwMuvr3bZ1g .
Tune: TALLIS’ ORDINAL 86.86 by Thomas Tallis ca. 1505-1585.
Text: Veni Creator Spiritus, Rabanus Maurus, ca. 776-856. Translation Anonymous.

This version is in the book Divine Office, where it is the hymn for Pentecost Sunday Evening Prayer I. It is also in Catholic Worship Book II, published 2016, hymn 382. The text is:

Come, Holy Ghost, Creator come,
From thy bright heavenly throne!
Come, take possession of our souls,
And make them all thine own.

Thou, who art called the Paraclete,
Best gift of God above,
The living spring, the living fire,
Sweet unction, and true love!

Thou who are seve’nfold in thy grace,
Finger of God’s right hand,
His promise, teaching little ones
To speak and understand!

O guide our minds with thy blest light,
With love our hearts inflame,
And with thy strength which ne’er decays
Confirm our mortal frame.

Far from us drive our deadly foe
True peace unto us bring,
And through all perils lead us safe
Beneath thy sacred wing.

Through thee may we the Father know,
Through the th’eternal Son
And thee the Spirit of them both
Thrice-blessed Three in One.

All glory to the Father be,
With his coequal Son:
The same to thee, great Paraclete,
While endless ages run.

I’m always amazed at the amount of adjustments done in the translated lyrics to get the rhyme and meter right.

I rather like this one.

The words below:

The words of this wonderful hymn are attributed to Rhabanus Maurus, 9th c.
(Veni Creator Spiritus, Mentes tuorum visita); It was paraphrased in English
by Bishop John Cosin in Collection of Private Devotions in the Practice of
the Ancient Church, 1627. Veni Creator Spiritus is a Gregorian chant normally
sung in Latin. This version is widely sung in the Anglican Church on the feast
of Pentecost as well as Ordinations and other celebrations of the Holy Spirit.

Come, Holy Ghost, our souls inspire,
and lighten with celestial fire.
Thou the anointing Spirit art,
who dost thy sevenfold gifts impart.

Thy blessed unction from above
is comfort, life, and fire of love.
Enable with perpetual light
the dullness of our blinded sight.

Anoint and cheer our soiled face
with the abundance of thy grace.
Keep far our foes, give peace at home:
where thou art guide, no ill can come.

Teach us to know the Father, Son,
and thee, of both, to be but One,
that through the ages all along,
this may be our endless song:

Praise to thy eternal merit,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
