Has anyone ever heard of The Way of Light or via lucis? It appears to be recent and celebrates Christ’s life from the Resurrection to His ascension.

Maybe I’m getting conservative in my old age (50) but the whole thing just seems a little odd. Where are churches supposed to put up Stations of Light?

Well the Stations of the Cross are associated in a way with the Mysteries of the Rosary. We now have the Mysteries of Light for the Rosary. Why not have the Stations of Light, but only on Sundays or outside of Lent, not on days of Lent or Fridays.
 
I like the idea of the Via Lucis; it’s a better alternative than a “fifteenth station.” After all, the traditions of the Church had to start at some point in time…
