I saved a job ad last week, but upon checking now, the job ad has expired. I emailed the job portal on how to view the expired but with no response yet.

So i tried he techniqud for viewing cached pagds, but it would not work.

Anyone knows how? Thanks.

If the location is still active, you might be able to get to it from your browsing history. Try searching that. Google may also have it cached if the page is still searchable but not active anymore. The Wayback Machine may also have it stored, but that’s only if someone chose to do so.

Outside of those options, you probably can’t unless you set something up beforehand. Browsers don’t tend to cache whole pages, just those elements that tend to be reused.

Hi, yes I wen back to my history and found he link. However, the job ad isn’t there anymore. Previously, here was a way to view taken downor expired job ads via he Google cache search, but now it does not seem to work anymore.

via he Google cache search
Google doesn’t really have a dedicated “cache search” that I’m aware of. Some search results have a green arrow next to the URL below the title, and if clicked, that’ll give you the option to view the cached page. It may or may not contain the content you want, though. That depends on when Google took the snapshot of the page. It’s really more an option for pages that aren’t currently working (because they’re probably going down more than Google is).
