I’m sure it’s very good, but that site has been abandoned for years. The last posting by the author was in 2004, and the Mac version has been “temporarily unavailable” since that time. I wish it were available so I could check it out.

really! well i downloaded it.
people still put their prayer request there.

I tried downloading it so I could transfer it to my MP3 player. Windows Vista/Dell here did not recognize the format of the compressed file and so was unable to open it. I sent an email for help to the author but have yet to hear from him. This was in April.

What does it sound like?

It’s not an MP3 file. They have music that you can play in the background but it’s more of a software. You open it and click on the day it is. Then It displays the prayers. When you are finished praying that prayer you click the “Amen” button. It shows all the mysteries in an esay format . It shows people’s prayer intentions in a small box at the bottom.
 
I just occasionally discovered this program today. It’s really nice. I’m glad there is a latin version (because I’m not used to praying in english, and there was no russian version - but I love good old latin 🙂 The idea of prayercast is wonderful. The site looks abandoned, but people post many prayer intentions, so prayercast is active, and, IMHO, very useful feature.
Just pumpung this old thread up to let more people know about this cute program 🙂
 
I’ve had it on my computer for several years. I love it. It has the Divine Mercy Chaplet as well.
 
It’s bad that the Divine Mercy Chaplet is in english only…
I wondered if new languages can be added to this program, but seems that there is editor only for meditations, and prayers will stay with default set of languages. There are many languages, but I miss russian 🙂
