Visited a Protestant church yesterday and it was awful

OP, what you are missing is the Eucharist, of course. Once you know that you are receiving the Body, Blood,Soul and Divinity of Christ, any other service would pale in comparison.

The way people dress, the music they play, etc. are all externals. They mean nothing in the big picture. If you go to a non-Catholic service, you know you are not going to find the Eucharist, so just accept people where they are at and don’t complain.

You must be blind rather than stupid because I did not go to complain. I was merely floored that such stuff was going on. Kind of like the Protestant church near my house that has its members walk up and down the sidewalks giving away copies of the New Testament. And when I ask where’s the Old Testament, I’m told that I don’t need that half, it’s not important.

If there’s a moderator around, lock this thread. People seem to think I’m trying to bash a Protestant church when I’m just reporting an experience that was far out of touch with what I’m used to. I’m tired of the constant personal attacks too. It’s like nobody is allowed to have an opinion around here on anything.

I am not blind, nor stupid, but you are incredibly rude. You did come here and complained. I hope you are very young and will soon learn how to communicate with others, without insults.
