Hi everyone! I am wanting to know of there is anyone out there who may be able to assist me. I have decided to begin vocation discernment but my problem is in finding a spiritual director in my area. I live in south Georgia, near Savannah but I’m not familiar with anyone who may be able to help me…any suggestions? Please and thanks!

Get in touch with your parish priest. If he can’t do it, then he can recommend someone who can help you. If you are considering a vocation, the diocese should have an office that can help you get started.

I dont live there, but I can give you advice. Just ask a specific query

Hi Rachealy,

I’d start by contacting your own diocese and the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Catholic convents and monasteries can be another source for referrals even if not nearby. For example, the Trappist Monastery of the Holy Spirit seems like a good possibility since they have a Lay Cistercian association and also offer retreats.

Contact your local parish priest, and he can take it from there. Or go online to your diocese webpage and find your Vocations Director. Send him an email, he will be more than to speak with u!!
God Bless!!
