I’m at a young age (not even in high school yet) but there are sometimes I feel like dedicating my whole life to God. Others I feel like getting married and having kids. Pray for me!

Pray to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance & direction in your life’s choices.

You do indeed have time, so don’t stress 🙂

We are all called to dedicate our lives to God. It’s not a choice between that and getting married. Marriage is also a vocation, one through which people live for the Lord, just not in the same way priests and religious do.

Praying for you. God bless!

If I were you, I would place all my focus in conquering the issues you are struggling with in regard to pornography and masturbation, before spending time worrying about your vocation. You need to stop habitually committing grave sins before you’ll be ready for either of those sacraments.

I personally think that God can start calling us to a vocation at any age.

You can look at the lives of the saints to see when some of them were being called. For some of them, they were very young.

I felt that I was clearly being called when I was 14 to the religious life, but I did not feel a particular draw to it. Instead, I felt a stronger calling to marriage, and that was the call that I answered.

I did volunteer throughout my adult life in some parishes that I attended, and I feel that I did serve the Lord and the parish communities that I belonged to in that way, though.

You may feel though that as you become older, that you may want to discern your calling with a Spiritual Director, to see where you are led.

May God bless you on your journey of faith.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. 🙂
