I’m positive I have a calling to religious life. Where should I go for more information on what order to join? Who would I contact? I am only sixteen years old, but I would like to start getting information about various orders so I can get an idea of where to go after college. Any ideas?

Oh, by the way, I would want to be in an active order, not a contemplative one. I was thinking Missionaries of Charity, but perhaps there are more places to look at. Now I just have to find them!

Diocesan Vocations Office. Call the local chancery office and ask. Go on line and find the diocesan website with link to vocations office. Don’t try to investigate on your own. Get someone with experience and background to help you. Body of Christ means we’re all in this together.

There are a number of good websites you can look at.

These have some good solid communities in them.
There are some more general vocation websites also.

The Rosminians have a rather expansive list of websites. They may have some more international congregations.
There is no shortage on information out there. Just keep praying about it and let the Lord lead you. Eventually one will pop out from the rest for you.
