If there is no nearby Catholic Charity to volunteer at, would volunteering at Salvation Army be okay?

I support the Salvation Army in small ways, and I know Catholics who have regularly volunteered at the Salvation Army. In my opinion, if the organization takes good care of the poor and needy, then it is a good thing.

Are they anti Catholic? I heard Salvation army or something similar was anti Catholic. you can look more into it if you want.

What a great witness to them as to the genuineness of a Catholic volunteering then. I support all three thrift shops in my area; St. Vincent’s, Salvation Army and Goodwill. The bottom line is that they are all working to improve people’s lives.
