Waiting on confession

I need to go to confession, but the next time it is offered is tomorrow. What can I do in the meam time to apologize to God and mend the brokenness? Any particular prayers that will help. I feel incredibly guilty and if there was a confessional open right now, I’d be standing in the line. What do you do while you wait?
