The AFA has announced that after threats of a boycott on the day after Thanksgiving, Wal-Mart has publically announced it will no longer support “controversial” issues.

In the past weeks, Wal-Mart had publically supported some Gay-themed events and donated some significan funds to organizations promoting Gay marriage.

Here is the AFA announcement: afa.net/Petitions/Issuedetail.asp?id=223

Walmart also is one of the businesses that supports planned parenthood. So is Circuit City. Sigh- two stores that I was planning to shop at this weekend. Not now!😦

I did not know this. Where did you get this information?

Praise God! I can finally shop there again without reservations! 😃

I wonder if they will change their policy again after the Christmas shoppers have spent their billions? I don’t trust any of them anymore. The corporate world’s word doesn’t mean anything now days. 😦

How true! 😦

Was there anyone out there picketing stores and organizations that give to religious organizations? I ask because, if there really is this vast left-wing hollywood-backed Elton John-led homosexual conspiracy to corrupt our children and sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids, you’d think you’d, you know, see some marches on the many organizations that give to Christian causes.

I just don’t see any, is all, so I assume by logical deduction that homosexuals don’t want you to lose your rights as much as you don’t want them to have theirs.

I’d say gays love Christmas.

Christians: 1

Freedom: 0

sigh

Someday, you’ll all see how ridiculous this is. Someday, they’ll laugh at you like we laugh at segregationists today. Someday, you’ll understand our pain and rejection.

Someday, maybe you’ll figure out it’s not right to force your religious convictions on people who don’t accept them.

Someday, you’ll understand.

Someday, you’ll start acting like real Christians.

I posted this in Secular News:
Wal-Mart’s holiday opening disappoints
Looks like hitting their bottom line did work and they are still feeling the effects.

However, we must keep up the pressure. Any relapse must be dealt with swiftly. Maybe seeing what happened to Wal-Mart will make other company think twice about these types of policies.

Another company that may be feeling the effects of this type of boycott is Ford. I was looking at a couple of the Ford models, but decided against them because of their policies in this area.

I have not seen anything about Wal-mart funding Planned Parenthood recently or much in the past.I am getting the new list from Life Decisions International. Could someone paste the link if they have seen this.

I know they change their policy of not stocking the morning after pill in their pharmacies after having protests outside the stores and lawsuits thrown at them by Planned Parenthood.

The are 57% on the giving list for gay friendly by the Human Rights Campaign. They are not like the other corporations that give 100%. I think we need to write letters asking them to stop caring the morning after pill in their pharmacies and stop funding"gay pride" events. They did respond to the AFA boycott.

They give to to the Republican Party.

Ford Motor Company gives 100%. They are having trouble financially yet they don’t get it. Again letters need to be written to Ford.

I am trying not to shop at either.

Anyone got a mailing address for either?

I encourage you to go to the American Family Association. They are a clearing-house orgnization for this type of info. They have the latest on the Ford Motor Company and Target boycotts.
