Wal-Mart caves in to the Culture of Perversion šŸ˜¦
Wal-Mart to Stock Morning-After Pill
Officials of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced Friday the company will reverse its earlier policy and stock emergency contraception pills in all of its pharmacies effective March 20, saying the giant retailer could not justify being the countryā€™s only major pharmacy chain not to carry the morning-after pill.
The announcement comes after Massachusetts last month ordered the worldā€™s largest retailer to stock the so-called Plan B pill, following a lawsuit by three Boston women against Wal-Mart.

At least they will let pharmacists who object to dispencing it be able to refuse to fill the prescription.

Still, they caved in, and besides, pharmacists in Illinois are not allowed to have a conscious. It is illegal.

That is my last trip to Wal-Mart.

I will have to check if the AFA has a petition for this one. I think there petitions have changed many of these problems.

(Gotta new one without stealing your thread I was at Kmart last night and the cashier asked me if I wanted to help save babies from premature death so I asked what organization is it and she said the March of Dimes so of course I replied why would I want to help an organization that helps kill babies needless to say she was very put out. I explained to her that I would help the March of Dimes when they stop putting money into planned parenthood and abortion.)

My husband and i just watched a documentary called ā€œIs Wal-Mart Good for America?ā€ They strong-armed manufacturers like Rubbermaid into lowering their prices and drove them out of business. Now they get most of their stuff from China because itā€™s the cheapest. They changed the way business is done. It used to be the manufacturer set the prices for their goods. Now itā€™s the retailer. You canā€™t tell me that a company that can completely change the way business was arranged HAS to cave to pressures like this. I think they see the middle road as having the most profits. And i emailed them to let them know they have lost my familyā€™s business.

Yes, and you can see how very low that can go. As a consumer in this capitalist nation, i feel itā€™s my responsibility to give my hard-earned dollars to businesses driven by ethics and not solely by profits. Otherwise you have the dehumanizing juggernaut that is Wal-Mart lowering the standard of living by underpaying employees and offering no benefits while simultaneously destroying high-paying manufacturing jobs in the US. And not because they HAVE to.
