Since there is much division going in the church at this time, I wanted to create a thread that helps us to focus on the communion of saints to interceed for us.

My favourite saints are Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Cecilia.

What about you?

St Philip Neri and St John XXIII are my patron saints. I pray for their help all the time. They are so near and dear to my heart, I can hardly describe it to be honest. Their kindness, irony and humor, humility, gentleness, the freshness of their personality, the perfect union in them between grace and nature–was all so lovely that I wish in my life I could have but a fraction of what they had. I pray for them to intercede for the whole Church.

I have so many favorite saints it’s hard to list them all without forgetting some.

The Blessed Mother and St. Joseph are my top two.
The next bunch of go-tos would be St. Therese, St. Jude, St. Monica, St. Margaret Mary, St. Patrick, St. Anthony, and St. Padre Pio. Also my guardian angel and St. Michael.
I have a group that I pray to for cats and animal-related intentions: St. Francis of Assisi, St. Francis de Paola, St. Gertrude of Nivelles, St. Philip Neri, St. Martin de Porres
At the end of the Divine Mercy I usually pray to St. Faustina, St. Pope John Paul II, St. John XXIII, and St. Gertrude the Great.
Some others I pray to include St. Thomas More, Sts. Francesco and Jacinta Marto, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Elizabeth Seton, St. Katherine Drexel, St. John Neumann, St. John Henry Newman, St. Clement, St. Agnes, and various other Apostles (particularly St. Matthew who helps with financial matters).
People not yet canonized whom I pray to include Bl. Miguel Pro, Bl. Jerzy Popieluzko, Bl. Solanus Casey, Ven. Fulton Sheen, Ven. Patrick Peyton, Servant of God Emil Kapaun, Servant of God Lucia dos Santos, Servant of God Rhoda Wise, and Mother Angelica.

Woah, that’s a lot of saints!

Also, Ven. Fulton Sheen was scheduled to be beatified but an issue popped up with his canonization process. I pray that in His mercy God will allow His servant to be beatified.

St. Maximilian Kolbe was a priest of true charity. I often think of how terrifying and brave it is to give your life up for a man he never knew.

Oh that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I could list off 50 more saints easily. I really like the saints. They keep me company and are rarely annoying.

St. John XXIII is my favorite, too. Such a sweet, wonderful guy. When I talk to him, I think I can almost hear him listening.

Some of my go to Saints are the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, St. Therese, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Patrick, St. Jean Vianney, St. Gemma Galgani, and St. Gerard Majella. And although she’s not canonized or anything yet, Mother Angelica.

I have quite a few saints that I consider to be my friends (although, I have no idea if they feel the same way!)
  • The Blessed Mother
  • St. Joseph (whose intercession I always credit with giving me the gift of my husband)
  • St. Anne
  • St. Agnes
  • St. Dymphna
  • St. Jude
  • St. Hyacintha Mariscotti
  • St. Rita
  • St. Dominic Savio
  • St. Matthew
  • St. Adelaide of Burgundy
  • St. Monica
  • Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen
There are a lot more saints that I really like, but I think my list is a bit long now.

Not an official saint

but Marie vianney (mother of st john vianney, who he says he is holy because of her)
