Did people hear about this? I got a kick out of it. I kind of wonder, how it is going to work exactly??
Two articles on the new drive-in phenomenon as a response to Covid-19 and possibly some other things to post. I’m really not sure which article is better to use but I’ll go with the first one.

Although summer 2020 isn’t going to be the big party we’d all looked forward to, that doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be one to remember. Walmart is giving families something fun to do by transforming store parking lots into drive-in movie theaters. Grab the popcorn!
The retail giant has teamed up with Tribeca Enterprises to bring the big screen (safely) back to life with the touring drive-in movie theaters. Beginning in August through October, 160 Walmart parking lots will turn into contact-free theaters. The family-friendly movie nights will include 320 showings of hit films.
The Walmart Drive-In will even feature special appearances from filmmakers and celebrities. For concessions, you can order snacks and drinks online for curbside pickup before the movie. You can also get concessions delivered right to your car!

Hungry for a night out of the house, people are turning to the nostalgia of drive-in movie theaters as a safe entertainment option amid coronavirus social distancing orders.
Today’s total of 305 drive-in locations is minimal compared with the more than 4,000 drive-in locations in the United States during the 1950s, but the attention they are receiving recently as a safe way to go out while practicing social distancing is something not seen in recent decades.
The 1952 Haar’s Drive-In Movie Theater in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, is one of the few original theaters that survived past the late 1980s and is the only one in York County.
