OK. I’ve never tried this. But it would be WONDERFUL to actually get some feedback so I can be part of one big Catholic family of people who care. I’d like to share. The following is true.

Sorry. I said I’m new at this. Please be patient. My other message was unfinished but I clicked too fast. I ask The Blessed Virgin if I could get some feedback. That would be WONDERFUL!. I’ll get right to the point. (I hope we can be honest in this forum).
I’m a single mom in my sixties. I have two sons-age 25 & 26 living at home. Right away-I would think what are these 2 grown sons still home? My fault : came from a dysfunctional family so I wanted to make their lives “Disneyland” so they wouldn’t suffer like I suffered. Now I’ll get rt. to the point:
  1. One son had issues. Went to Holy Hour cuz found out I was powerless to help. The Merciful God solved his problem.(I was flabbergasted!)
  2. Continued going to Holy Hour. Felt peace when I did. One day The Lord spoke to my heart(no fireworks or bells) and I heard, “Whoever loves…or sons more than me is not worthy of me…”( I’m being honest.)
3.Prayed to The Blessed Virgin for guidance and I surfed right onto a youtube of Fulton Sheen who said among other things"…Our Blessed Lord doesn’t want you to give Him a few hours of your day or once a week volunteering at a soup kitchen…He wants all of you…"
  3. I know one thing for sure-I don’t want to stand before the Lord for my particular judgment and see disappointment in His eyes. Nothing else will be equal to that tragedy in my life. so at this point I’m going to get my sons situated, sell what I have and move to an apt. so I can JUST hear the Lord. Any feedback? Please don’t make fun of my question. I’m not sure how this forum works but I’d like to try it…

Do I want to be a saint?
Not yet really. Sinning has become second nature and saintliness is in the “too hard basket”. Never give up, the Lord keeps telling me.

If you look at the bottom of your first post, there should be a little pencil icon. If you click on that you can edit posts when you click too early.

Thank you very much for your response. I was worried the responses would make fun of my question. Actually Our Lord said,“Whatever you do for the least-you do for Him.” I feel I’m the least right now. Your honesty was WONDERFUL! Actually, I think you’re closer to being a saint and you don’t realize it. E.

Our friend discobot will also give you a hand as a new user.
