Buffett is not an operating person.

He picks and chooses investment vehicles.

What retail brick and mortar stores need are new concepts.

For example, add mature residential towers. The malls would support the populations with both retail including different categories of restaurants … and medical.

Phases come and go in retail, in years past, big malls were the thing, now in a recent story, it says many popular malls are empty and in danger of closing, with ‘mall walkers’ being the only people that frequent them, so its pretty obvious the day will come when places like walmart will close down, paving the way for the next trend.

Plus, walmart pretty much depends on a healthy US/ China relationship, if that disintegrates, walmarts ability to operate goes with it.

Half the products I buy I do online and have it delivered they have more products available online that stores don’t stock- I think thats what he means - price is very close to the same - most online stores will ship for free if you buy a certain amount.
