Last Sunday, my wife’s deceased grandmother was supposed to have a mass said for her and her name was listed in the church bulletin. However, our priest never mentioned anything about who the mass was for during mass and I think he forgot! Was a mass said for her or not? What constitutes saying a mass for someone? Does the priest have to mention it for her or do the parishioners need to know? We’re wondering if we need to submit another date and do it again…
