for a little while now (I’m talking like 2 months), but tonight went to church and went to confession, and feel great. It’s such an amazing gift we have as Catholics. I am so lucky.
That is wonderful! Confession is such a wonderful gift isn’t it?!for a little while now (I’m talking like 2 months), but tonight went to church and went to confession, and feel great. It’s such an amazing gift we have as Catholics. I am so lucky.
We all go through our ups and downs. We do have a beautiful faith and that is only because Christ gives us this fantastic gift. Well, God bless you and I pray that you continue to feel as wonderful as you do now. Thank you for sharing your experience and I only wish that more could know the healing power of confession…for a little while now (I’m talking like 2 months), but tonight went to church and went to confession, and feel great. I feel the same way. I wish this for my sister to be honest. I try to show her how wonderful it is, but she doesn’t seem interested in knowing it more. Confession, when done with a contrite heart, is something that is just amazing. I just try to be the best example I can be, and hope that others see that in me.We all go through our ups and downs. My oldest son is almost back after a couple of years venturing into protestantism. With all of my frustration, I found it to be a tremendous growing experience for the both of us. For him it was seeing the truth in our faith as opposed to the inconsistancies of the different pastors and churches. For me it was the understanding that God is in charge, not me and that prayer is more powerful than anything. I wanted a quick fix but God is not in time and what seems like an eternity for us is a blink of an eye for Him.I feel the same way. I wish this for my sister to be honest. God wants her back infinitely more than you could. God Bless you…
