Some Christians here say that Jesus didn’t say " I am God , you must worship me" because he didn’t want the Jews to kill him…

Well,he had a very good chance to say it before his death on the cross, since he was going to die anyway.

Jesus had to teach all to his followers in the correct order as time progressed. THat order is shown in Scriptures. By the time of the Crucifixion, they already understood it to be true

What is your question?

And, love is the meaning of life…

Uhhh … read Matthew - 26:63 and the following verses. The Chief Priest CERTAINLY understands Christ to have blasphemed (insulted the sacred), meaning he believes he has received an affirmative (and condemnatory) answer to his question as to whether Jesus was the Son of God or not.

Understand - Jesus would not have been accused of blasphemy for making such an admission unless it was understood that He was claiming divinity.

Well, according to judaism most kinds of blasphemy are not punishable crimes. God himself punishes those who blaspheme. In ancient times someone who in blasphemy also curses their parents would be put to death.

It doesn’t really matter whether Jesus was afraid to accept his divinity or not. The will of God will always be done.

I, however, don’t think it is the case that Jesus was afraid of his divinity. I believe that he took solace in it. Knowing that he could have called ten thousand angels to do his bidding, he obviously didn’t have any intent on skirting the issue, otherwise, he would have done so.

I DO however, believe that he was scared of the situation. He was human, and he experienced our temptations. Fear is a temptation. Why else would he cry in the garden? Tears and sweat as blood. He was afraid alright. But just as WE are afraid, and we take solace in knowing that God is with us, so did Christ.

Idle conjecture towards any other idea is pointless. It doesn’t help us obtain Christ in our lives. It doesn’t lead us to the salvific message that Christ left. It only leads us to confusion. Satan uses talk like this to separate us. Concern yourselves not with the things that matter not. Instead, concern yourselves with the Light of the Word and become that Light, that is Jesus, to those around you.

Add to this Mark 14:61-63, John 8:12, 10:30, 11:25-25, 17:20-23,18:5-8 and you have Jesus claiming to be just what you say he didn’t.

Hi

Jesus was in such a misery on the Cross, that showed pictorially that he was not a god,in my opinion, he was only a suffering human being. He prayed to GodAllahYHWH to save him; that showed in words that he was no god; Jesus worshipped and believed in GodAllahYHWH,in my opinion.

It was Paul/s who interpreted the whole incident and its lesson to suit his own clever intentions. Paul invented Trinity, in my opinion.

I love Jesus and I would defend him against bad designs of Paul/s. This is my opinion.

Thanks

O… K…

You misunderstand the nature of Jesus the Christ. And you also deny the Gospel. Paul had nothing to do with the Gospels, which portray Christ in a deific manner. He was the Son of God, also he was the Word, which was there in the beginning, with God, as well as the Spirit of God. The Trinity is shown clearly in the NT Gospels.

Jesus explictly called Himself God. He used the Divine Titles to refer to Himself - Divine Titles which every Jew would understand. The most well known of these titles are the Way, Life, and Truth.

Hi friend kobudodave!

You misunderstand the nature of Jesus the Christ.

I think Jesus was one of the perfect human beings as he was one of the Messengers of GodAllahYHWH, like so many before him, in my opinion.

And you also deny the Gospel

Well, I don’t deny the Gospels, they were written much after, in the absence of Jesus; nevertheless the same are there with some books included and some rejected by the clergy haphazardly, in my opinion. i only deny only the untruth in them, where they differ with the teachings and legacy of Jesus, in my opinion.

Paul had nothing to do with the Gospels

Yes, Paul had nothing to do with the teachings and traditions of Jesus. Paul was not trained and educated by Jesus; so there it is correct that he should have nothing to do with the gospels; but Paul interjected teachings which were strange to Jesus’ teachings and legacy, in my opinion.

He was the Son of God

Yes, he was Son fo God like Moses was Son of God or like John the Baptist, was Son of God ,who baptised Jesus, in my opinion.
also he was the Word
Yes, Jesus could be a word of god as was John the Baptist a Word of God, in my opinion.

which was there in the beginning

In the same sense as Moses was there in the beginning; they were they purpose of this world, so they are sometimes described as they were in the beginning, in my opinion.

with God

Yes, Jesu was with god as was Adam with God,in my opinion.

as well as the Spirit of God

Yes, all the Messengers of God were spirits of God; no exception for Jesus, in my opinion.

The Trinity is shown clearly in the NT Gospels

Only because of Pau/s- his imagination. Jesus did not believe in it. He did not name it; no word from Jesus, in my opinion.

Jesus could assert himself for his claims and reasons; he needed no Paul/s, in my opinion; I love Jesus for his wisdom. Jesus feared nobody except GodAllahYHWH whose humble servant Jesus was, in my opinion.

Thanks

The Trinity IS shown in the NT in places such as Matt 28:17-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to carry out everything I have commanded you. And know that I am with you always, until the end of the world.” Obviously the Trinity.
