Was my consecration valid?

Last night I read the “Consecration to Jesus through Mary” chapter in Mark Miravalle’s Introduction to Mary and decided to do it. I didn’t know about the process that you are supposed to do that Sts. Kolbe and de Montfort established. I only said the Consecration Pray of de Montfort. Was the consecration valid?

Hi,

This isn’t a sacrament we are considering here. If you desire to consecrate your life to Jesus through Mary and make the choice to do it, it is done. The essential aspect is to will it. That must be present.
