Was my marriage even valid?

When i was married I cared very little for the faith and only went through the requirements out of feeling like I had to. We used ABC for some time willingly and knowingly after our marriage and only reccently began using NFP. was our marriage even valid since we planned to use ABC at the time of the wedding?
 
Your post is confusing. Are you still civilly married? If yes, there is a presumption of validity.

If no, validity is not determined by anything that happened after the wedding (ie using ABC) but on whether the spouses were free to marry and fully consented at the time of the wedding. The only one that can determine that is the tribunal. Your first step would be to speak to your priest.

Nothing in your post indicates your marriage is invalid. Please go talk to the priest if you did not marry according to Church law. Otherwise, there is nothing you need to do.

Yes, we were married according to church law.NFP classes, counseling, focuus test, all that, but considering we entered into the marriage with full intent to contracept (though now don’t) I was concerned that would have made the marriage invalid

Contraception is a grave sin against the sixth commandment, but not an impediment to valid marriage.

What *could *create an impediment is a permanent intention against children. That is not the same as using contraception.
 
Don’t try to resolve questions like these in forums. You can get ideas and advices, but ultimately you must seek the proper ecclesiastical authority to conclusively say if your marriage is valid or not.
